PERFORMING ARTS

Snug Harbor’s Performing Arts Program is dedicated to presenting the best in theater, music, dance and film. Programs occur throughout the year in the historic Music Hall, the intimate Veterans Memorial Hall and the open-air South Meadow Stage. Snug Harbor has been honored throughout the years to feature on its stage Joan Baez, David Bowie, Galt MacDermott, Ingrid Michaelson, Willie Nelson, Buster Poindexter, Tony Randall, Spyro Gyro and Jethro Tull ,among others.  Recent productions include HairspraySteel MagnoliasThe Alice Austen Story and Back to Bacharach. The Performing  Arts Program is proud to include local theater groups such as The Harbor Lights Theater Company, In the Wings Productions and Sundog Theatre on its roster of theatrical offerings.
